Salem First Free Methodist Church

On Thursdays, our gym is open for middle school students. You get a nutritional snack, safe environment with caring adults, and lots of time playing basketball with friends.

3 times a year, a week at a time, we host 4 families experiencing homelessness. We provide housing, breakfast, dinner and during the day the families head to the day center for housing assistance, job search support, case management and more.

Each year our church partners with this great ministry that teaches sportsmanship, basketball fundamentals, teamwork, and biblical principles through the game of basketball. Our gym gets busy in January on Saturdays so come check it out sometime or signup for Salem Upward Basketball.

At Salem First we take part in periodic missions trips... for youth, for children, for families, and for all ages. Recent trips have included Kenya and the Dominican Republic. We love to work in cross-cultural ministries and to serve with God's love in opportunities around the world.
